Venetian carrack of a beginning XVI centuries had length 30 м,
width 10 м, height of a board 6,5 м, the carrying capacity more than 600 т and
four masts. On fore mast and first mainmast there were direct sails, on the
second mainmast and driver - slanting. On masts the large platforms - tops for
accommodation arbalesters and fusiliers from firearms were established. Crew
about 100 persons. The general area of sails made about 770 sq.m.
Venetian carrack could take aboard up to 1500 persons.
